I am sorry to everyone involved in the making of this game, and this is not to downplay the effort put into this, but I have to give this a 0 star. The reason for this is that the game will literally not load AT ALL. Not only does the game frequently stop loading, but on top of that, the loading bar keeps losing progress after 60%, making it virtually impossible to finish loading the game, and, by extent, to actually play it, and this happens EVEN WITH HIGH QUALITY FIBER INTERNET (It's like 2ms ping with 300Mbps of download). I know that this is more an issue with the server bandwidth than it is an actual issue with the game itself, but it utterly pisses me off that, even after the servers went through an upgrade when the week 7 update first came out, it's STILL been a struggle to get the game up and running, and now it basically won't load at all. Even worse, the devs had been adamant in the past about keeping this update Newgrounds exclusive despite it being a massive struggle to load (ZX Spectrum games load better than this); I know that the devs are now working on bringing the update to the non-embedded, executable version of the game, and by GOD I hope that gets done soon, because right now the only alternative is to either use a mod that integrates week 7 back into the game, play on an unofficial website or simply bug off; it's impossible to properly load the game from here.

TL;DR: I can't score a game I can't even fucking load. PLEASE do something about it.

I am open to removing this review and giving this game a 5 star once the loading issues are resolved.

Well those YouTube references were entertaining.

I like the game's mechanic, but unfortunately VVVVVV already uses a similar (if not the same) mechanic. Parts of the game are still original however. The way the character flips seems to be a bit sloppy so yeah.

Primajin responds:

Thanks :) - Although VVVVVV didn't invent the mechanic either :P!

Very good game! It was pretty funny. The only bad thing is that it is...too short. While this may have been to acomodate the number of levels on the iOS/Android version, the gameplay seems still too short in this version.

I LOVE these types of games! But you may consider enlarging the letter soups a little so that finding words doesn't get that easy (if you left it short for max score then nvm that). Another thing I would like is that the game haves access to the Newgrounds API, so that it doesn't ask you for your name and the scoreboards are more efficient. Other than that, good job!

shajby responds:

thank you, I will try to add NG API today :)

For these people complaining the demo is too short: There are just FIVE levels in The Impossible Game. In fact it used to have ONLY TWO before the LP version was released. Obviously demos have to be not as long or closely as long as the full game. Only thing I agree is that FlukeDude should have given at least 20 more seconds of gameplay, for more entertainment. Anyway, 4 stars, one lost due to what I said before.

Dunno what to say about this one

Not bad. It's actually good anyway. But not too new or interesting.

LineStudios responds:

Thank you !

Did you get based on a Pou minigame? Cause it looks so :)
I noticed a little mispell on "get" on the "to get more!" phrase, you spelt it "got" instead of "get". Also, the box and ball rain can eventually get annoyning. Anyway. Good game.

No starts due to Unity Flash Player failing. Please don't make games with Unity, as it can be unplayable for some people.
